October 27, 2004
SBLGFD responds to downtown Fish Creek to assist three other departments fighting a structure fire at a condominium complex. The fire was contained to one unit.

 
October 12, 2004
Engine 8 responds to a fire alarm at the Northern Door Child Care Center in the village of Sister Bay. It was a false alarm.
 

October 8, 2004
SBLG Firefighters secure a landing zone for the EAGLE III medivac which landed in the field at Timberline Road & Hwy 42, east of Gills Rock, to pick up a patient from Washington Island Rescue.

October 3, 2004
SBLG Firefighters responded to several locations along the Lake Michigan shoreline to attempt to locate a report of boaters in distress near Spider Island. A sizeable department meant firefighters were available to respond to deep on the trails and picnic area of Newport State Park, to Sand Bay, and to Rowleys Bay. The boaters returned to their port safely and under their own power.
 
October 2, 2004
Trucks from both the Ellison Bay and Sister Bay stations responded to a residential address on North Door Bluff Road for a structure fire. The cottage had already completely burned before 911 was called.
 
September 7, 2004
A truck spilled cooking grease as it traveled up the steep Sister Bay Hill on Highway 42. SBLGFD units responded to the lengthy scene to put down Oil Dry and attempt to clean up some of the grease from teh roadway. It was more slippery than might be expected; vehicles were spinning their wheels on untreated pavement.
 

August 28, 2004
On August 28, 2004, a Cty E family was struck by a devastating barn fire which rendered the barn a complete loss. Mutual aid from several departments, including Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire, responded to the fire with tankers and personnel.

August 20, 2004
Trucks from the Sister Bay station responded to Highway 57 at Koepsel's Farm Market for a three-vehicle accident which also involved a boat & trailer.
 
July 24, 2004
Trucks and firefighters from the Sister Bay station are paged to Highway 57 just south of County Q for a one-vehicle rollover accident.
 

June 22, 2004
SBLGFD firefighters respond to an address on Old Stage Road in the township of Liberty Grove for a cement truck which has damaged an underground LP tank. The truck was removed by a crane. The fire department sprayed thick layers of foam on the area to prevent settled LP gas from becoming ignitable.

 
 
April 17, 2004
Firefighters respond to a grass fire at a residence near Highway 57 and County Q. No buildings were damaged.
 
March 23, 2004
Firefighters respond to Westwood Drive in the village of Sister Bay for a reported chimney fire.
